Comments	The manager of the Music Hall went to the Summit when the Summit opened, and he liked the Summit because it had straight-on projection (whereas the Music Hall Projectors were installed quite low, which meant all 70mm had the upper left/right corners masked off and looked awkward). The color of the Summit curtains (which extended took up the sides and back of the house, were a watermelon color, so there was way too much reflection during bright, outdoor scenes of any picture that played there. Once Cinerama left the Summit, it eventually became a porn house and you should have seen what that looked like. In 1977 two guys got a hold of a 70mm print of 2001 and played it at the Summit for about 1 or 2 weeks. They even used "presented in Cinerama" in the newspaper clippings. Attendance was low. At that time the curtain did not even work. The Summit 35/70mm projectors went to the Redford Theater; a portion of the watermelon curtains went to the Trenton (MI) live theater (which is a small community theater). Closed 03/24/71. Reopened as Pandora
